My 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII

My love affair with the Lincoln Mark VIII can be traced back to the 1990's when my parents test drove a champagne 1994 Mark VIII. The car was so cutting edge and sporty, yet luxurious. Its aggressive, aerodynamic design was like nothing else on the road, and from the moment I first saw this fine piece of machinery, it became one of my dream cars. Despite it being quite the departure from the Town Cars my parents were shopping for at the time, it won them over as well to become the first of many Mark VIII's to join our family. A couple years later, my mother fell in love with a toreador red 1996 Mark VIII LSC, which replaced the '94, and would stay in our family to this day.

In 2004, I purchased my first Mark VIII in quite the unusual way. I had a 1972 Lincoln Continental Mark IV project car I was working on at the time. To assist with the project, I decided to look for a Lincoln Mark IV parts car, so I placed a free classified ad in a local automotive magazine in search of Lincoln Mark IV parts cars. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from a gentleman who said he had a 1993 Lincoln Mark IV parts car he'd be willing to sell. At first, I thought he meant he had a 1973 Mark IV until, after speaking to him further, I realized he had a 1993 Mark VIII parts car. As luck would have it, I had been seriously considering purchasing a Mark VIII, so I figured having a parts car for my (future) Mark VIII wouldn't be such a bad idea. I purchased my first Mark VIII, a 1993 Deep Jewel Green with Mocha interior parts car, in May of 2004. The very next month, I purchased the car that would become my "baby", my black on black '93 Mark VIII.

Later in 2004, I began selling leftover parts from my parts car on E-Bay. By listening to my customers, I realized there was a need for affordable, quality, used parts, even back then when most replacement parts were still available from Ford. I decided to try to help fill that void.

My passion for the Lincoln Mark Series goes beyond the Mark VIII. While I specialize in Mark VIII parts, I've also owned a 1972 Lincoln Continental Mark IV and a 1957 Continental Mark II. I also occasionally deal in parts for other Mark Series cars.
